If this describes you, we provide a local solution for your family’s food source. Just outside of Syracuse, New York, Rose Hill Farms is a clear alternative source for farm-raised natural beef. We raise our herd of 65 of beef on our own 250 acres in the rich farmland of the lush Finger Lakes region.
Rose Hill Farms is a small family farm, begun in 1999 with just 10 cows. We have expanded slowly with our focus on providing the finest quality Black Angus beef, which is widely recognized for the best steak available. We never use growth hormones. Our steers are weaned slowly and then pastured on 80 acres of grass to ensure optimum marbling and tenderness. Our steers are finished our farm-grown corn silage and hay resulting in the finest flavor in our Black Angus beef. It is what you want for your family.
You can purchase our grass-fed beef at local farmers markets from May through September near Syracuse, New York. We are at Skaneateles farmers market on Thursdays from 3:30-6:30 and on Saturdays from 9:00 – 1:00. Or find us at Marcellus Open Air Market on Thursdays from 3:30-7:30. Know your farmer and you know your food source.

If you would like to purchase your beef directly from the farm, our hours are at your personal convenience. You can choose select premium black Angus beef cuts right at the farm by appointment. Or fill your freezer with a whole Black Angus beef steer custom cut to your preferences.
